Below is a list of upcoming events related to Irene Parker's visit. If you haven't already done so in earlier posts, please rsvp by commenting below. If you don't know who Irene Parker is, jump to the bottom of this lengthy message and you'll find a link to the introductory post.
But first, let me (and Lori Faber-Smith) give a HUGE SHOUT-OUT OF THANKS to everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe campaign that Lori set up a couple of weeks ago to raise funds to cover Irene's travel expenses. I am so excited to announce that, through your generosity, we reached our fundraising goal so Irene won't be out of pocket for coming to visit us in person. All of her efforts and time have been provided to us on a completely voluntary basis so it only makes sense that we at least cover her travel expenses. Any money left over after her travel expenses are paid will be left with her as our contribution to her legal fund that she has had to establish to help her address the whistleblower retaliation that she is currently facing in the US (details about her legal fund are available here: www.gofundme.com/f/irene-parker-diamond-resort-legal-defense-fund). We will also have a donation box at the Meet-and-Greet on Oct 21st for anyone who wants to contribute in person. She is a VERY appreciative lady for everyone who is helping her defend her voluntary efforts to help timeshare owners. She has been instrumental in getting our voices heard so it just makes sense for us to help her right back!! Anyway, here is the schedule associated with her visit (the bolded text is relevant to owners): (Oct 19th Irene arrives in Ontario) Oct 20th 10-11am Facebook Livestream conversation with Irene Parker. Oct 22nd 5-6pm. Small chit-chat gathering with Irene Parker for CR or CH owners who were not able to join the Meet-and-Greet on Oct 21st. (Location To Be Determined; probably a coffee shop or an open-concept fast food joint near CR AGM location. The chosen location will depend on how many people RSVP to this specific small gathering. Currently there are about 8 people interested in this event, hence my suggestion for a coffee shop near the CR AGM. Oct 22nd 6:30pm. Onsite Registration for CR AGM.
